What is your motivation to wake up in this morning?
If you haven't guessed yet or scrolled through the pictures, you will see my motivation.
I think we all to find a reason to live our lives to the fullest.
We can easily get caught up in the daily routines of life, forget to live life to the fullest.
How many of you have been guilty of that? I know I was for a time and still there are days where I want to fall back into that trap of just living.
But as we all know, that does not have to be the way it is. You don't have to wait for the perfect moment to do something, because in all reality that perfect moment will never happen.
You don't have to wait to till you save the right amount of money to take a trip with your love. Go today even if it just for a ride or walk with the person you love.
I can think back to our time together at the seminary. My wife was flying every week to support our family. In between classes I held a campus job. To say funds were tight would be an understatement. When it came time for my wife to celebrate her 50th birthday, I felt ashamed to some degree that I could not throw this elaborate party for such a milestone.
So I went to the local grocery, grabbed a bottle of champagne, and a box of chicken. I told her we were going on a picnic. We drove over to Forrest Park, sat on the grass and enjoyed her birthday. It was a great day, just the two of us listening to Ray Charles and taking in the beauty of the park. I hope that she will remember that day always.
So not everything has to be elaborate. Sometimes just spending time with the person you love is all you need. That is my motivation! Spend time with the people you love...
