Words will never completely convey how I felt about seeing my friend and former coach Lisa “Nothing can stop her” Johnson cross the finish line in Kona this year. I know Ironman is full of inspirational stories and Coach Lisa is no different. She is such an inspiration for so many people. I was able to be there and see her on course that day in Kona. I think every time I saw her that race she had a smile on her face, it was priceless! She not only faced the day, she owned it and I got to be there to catch her as she crossed the finish line that night. What an honor!
Follow her adventures around the world if you dare, I do. Triouradventure.com
She is the boss of travel & adventures, and one heck of a coach.

I worked the last shift at the finish line and had a blast volunteering |
One of the perks of the finish line as they approach midnight you get to meet the top pros as they come out to greet and cheer on the final finishers before the cutoff |
